Vince, Brockers, Jake, Jon, Tav, Mike, and Harley
Early at the farm and so was Brockers. Changed and wandered up to the cave to spend a little time ‘gardening’ around the spoil heap. Jake wasn’t far behind, and the rest of the team arrived soon after. Jon set off to CoW with Harley, Mike resumed a position on the ledge, Brockers took over Nick’s ‘tidying’ work along the spoil/skip route, while I was based at the bottom of the entrance. Jake and Tav were up on the surface carrying out spoil management roles.
As usual spoil moved through the cave from the two excavation areas at a good, steady rate, all personnel were kept occupied. There was plenty of mostly good-natured banter. Later in the session Mike traded places with Harley, and time passed quickly.
At the end of today’s session, a total of 86 bags had been filled, hauled, and emptied with an undetermined quantity of rocks added to the spoil heap wall, some of these were large and heavy. The sun was shining, and it was rather warm on the surface.
Time for some refreshments at the Hunters’
