The pile of rocks in CoW from Tuesday’s plugs & feathers session were cleared, followed by filled bags and sporadic stones. As the rate of spoil flow eased the opportunity to clear the rocks from the bottom of the pot. As he was there anyway Jon decided to continue with the ‘tidying’ work and fill some bags with not very dry ‘slop!’ And a few stones too.
And so, the morning progressed. A total of 68 bags were filled, hauled, and emptied plus ’30-odd’ skip loads of rocks added to the spoil heap wall. All was good and everyone seemed happy. No special family occasions this weekend – the Hunters’ was open for refreshments which were enjoyed.
