“Harley, Jon and Jake arrived at the appointed hour. The team determined that all members should go underground. In Can of Worms, Harley and Jake dug. Jon stacked on the ledge. Vince banged boulders mid-week. Harley and Jake dug accordingly, mainly downwards. The space at the dig face is somewhat larger. Further effort is needed going down. No bang required at present. There was no progress going forward. Between hauling sessions, Jon removed some spoil from the pot. With a small team, minimal hauling was done. Some 30 to 40 bags are stacked on the ledge, along with rocks. Hence, no bags were removed; no rocks were removed. We suspect that next week’s bag count will be high.
When the sun reached the appointed position, the team retired to a local hostelry for light refreshments.”
